Love and Hatred

Buddha said ¨Hatred is never appeased by hatred in this world; by non-hatred alone is hatred appeased¨

We hate others mainly because of their deeds or imperfection in his personality. Hate can be defined as ´absence of Love´. Hate is naturally opposed to love. Its obvious that we don´t love others when there are shades of hates. No-hatred is the symbol of love. When we don´t hate anything; then in other way it means that, we love everything. Hate cannot be interchanged into love by hating. Because hate is the byproduct of negativity and love is the byproduct of positivity. Therefore hate and love are two different entities. Just like parallel lines never intersect each other, similarly, hate and love, if traveling in their own respective track, will never intersect each other.

If you look at the highways, we can see that, there are separate lines for vehicles passing through from both directions. There won't be any accident, if the opposite vehicle won't cross the mark. Collusion is possible only when one vehicle keeps on traveling in wrong side and hit the other vehicle which is passing by in his respective track.. Similarly 'hate' travels in one track, 'love' travels in another track, thus they wont intersect each other if they travel in their own tracks. When we hate others then we are crossing tracks and paving way for a collusion. When we start to hating then next step is adding fuels to make the vehicle travel more. Each time he add more and more fuels by thinking more and more ways of hating others(rivals). This will make the gap to become more wider than before. Before that, there was only a marginal gap, it became widened by hating more.

Love bestows expansion and hate bestows contraction. The more you love, the more you are expanding your horizon. The more you hate the more you are contracting your horizon, and contraction is always symbolize death. Broadening of mind is the right way to keep yourself in the right track of life. Narrow minded is the result of selfishness which can be adjudged as wrong track. If you are continuing to hate others and if others are doing the same then their hatred won't settle in this life. He will live in his track and other one in his track. If you are not taking initiatives to settle a quarrel, then the disputes won't get settled. Taking initiative means you are changing your attitude from hatred to love. Thats why he is indulging in the initiative process for mingling with the disputed one, otherwise he do not prefer to take an initiative to talk with other. So when he crosses the 'hatred track' to 'love track' then the issues will be settled in a fraction of second. This ultimately pave way for bestowing peace from the spectrum of loving.
