Is there now?

There is No Now…

Time is the product of mind and word ..either now/past/present and it was the duality that created time and that duality is death. this concept is put forwarded by upanishad, so am not saying anything my own.
“In the beginning there was nothing whatsoever in the universe. all this was covered—by hunger which is death itself, because hunger is, verily, death. he (death) desired “Let Me have a mind,” and created the mind”.
“he (death) desired: “Let a second self be born of Me,(means-creating the world)” and hunger which is called as death brought about the union of speech(wisdom) with the mind. Year(time) was created from that seed from that union. Prior to that there had been no year(time)”.
“He (Death) bore him (the seed) for as long as a year and after that time projected him. Then, when he was born, Death opened His mouth to devour him. He (the child) cried: “Bhan!” and that, indeed, became speech(voice)”.
“He(death) thought: “If I kill him(objects), I shall have but very little food, and he created everything(in the world) through the union of speech(wisdom) and mind. He created all this, whatever there is- the Rig—Veda, the Yajur— Veda, the Sama—Veda, the Chandass(metres), the Yanja’s(sacrifices), men and animals. He(death) decided to eat what ever he created (in this universe).
Why he is called as adithi(eater or death) is because of that- ‘he eats everything’ so came to be termed as Aditi”. source brihadarnyaka.
Thus, what ever is here in this world is death. because everything is created from death, so death is certain for all, and death is the real nature. what is death? death = change.. death means change from birth, and birth means change from death. this is the concept of re-birth. and in life also there is nothing but change. child change to youth, and youth change to old and when old changes its body and take a new body, then we say that old man died.. so change of forms is death.
seconds changes to minute and minute changes to hours, and hours. weeks change to month and month change to year. just like river flows to ocean every things is going to the ocean called time( i forget the upanishadic sloka to substantiate this concept, when i remember it i will paste it here)
our 3 states are due to change. waking state change to dream state and dream changes to sleep and sleep changes to waking state. And the 4 the state thuriya is the change and transition of all these 3 states.
day change to night and night change to day as per sun rise and sunset. sun rise and set is change. Change means different from previous plane, that moving on is called change. so change is the nature of the world. and world is the product of duality. and the truth is beyond changes, it is changeless.
“sun has not rise or set there, oh devas don’t curse me by declaring that truth”.. source chandogya..
Truth is the state were there is neither mind nor senses, and time (the product of mind and senses as per brihadrnyaka) is also absent, so Now is also absent there. because there is no receiver to perceive NOW.. I said there is no now in truth is because there is none to perceive ‘now’.
